There are several ways for organizations to be involved with the Auto-ID Center.

End Users
Companies or organizations that buy ePC related technologies to use in their business are eligible to join the Center's Board of Overseers. End users have the inside track on the research, the opportunity to participate in field trials, and the chance to help guide the work of the Center.

Technology Vendors
Companies that will sell ePC related technologies or services are eligible to join the Technology Board. They will influence and work with the Board of Overseers and work closely with the Center's scientists and engineers as ePC technology is developed. (Vendors are separated from end-users to avoid conflicts of interest as standards are proposed.)

Trade Organizations
Nonprofit trade groups are invited to become ePC alliance partners. Alliance partners are kept regularly informed about the Center's research and are invited to special partner events in return for their advocacy of and input on the Center's proposals.
