The bizarre case has just resulted in three employees at a Welsh computer firm being charged with forgery after they allegedly sent the spoof e-mails to Mr. Hall, who worked for a rival firm. The trio are accused of sending e-mails to Mr. Hall, who had a history of mental illness, which resulted in him traveling to India on what he believed was a business trip. But when he arrived in Delhi last July and discovered he was the victim of a hoax, he suffered a nervous breakdown. Hours after returning home, he stabbed his 12-year-old daughter through the heart as she slept. The 41-year-old father was cleared of murder late last year by a jury at Swansea Crown Court on the grounds of insanity, but was ordered to be detained indefinitely at a medium security hospital.
